Child Care and Protection Skills

This course, “Child Protection and Rights: Foundations and Perspectives,” explores the essential principles, history, and frameworks that underpin child protection globally. It emphasizes the importance of safeguarding children’s rights—including access to food, water, health, education, life, freedom, and identity. The course also examines the specific challenges children face in emergency contexts and the psychosocial impact of war. Learners will engage with both universal and faith-based perspectives, including a dedicated focus on child protection from an Islamic viewpoint. This course aims to equip participants with knowledge and insight to advocate for and protect children in diverse settings.
